The name of Grimm's fairy-tale donkey Marlen, August 20, 2002 at 6:33:15 PM CESTh
Bricklebrit remains shrouded in mystery. I still haven't got anywhere near the core of its meaning. Brickle - could be a form of "brigel" (old German for "beat"). brit could be a short form of "bridel" (English "bridle"). Again I have spent hours in search for a clue. Will Bricklebrit be my "Rosebud" - the last word on my lips before I die? |
